I attended a JustRite class that taught me this watercolor technique. I am not a fan of watercolor but I really enjoyed the class so I thought I would try it at home. This is the first card I did. I am entering this card into the following challenges.

Ms. Donna, for someone who just learned a new technique, I applaud your skill. I love your bg. to be perfectly honest, I've practiced and practiced WC'ing but have never really gotten beyond this smooching technique despite all the money I've spent buying the most expensive WCs, brushes and papers. Lovely design too with your sweet summertime flowers. Wonderful card.

Oh Donna this is so pretty! I love the watercolor pattern paper you made for the base. It adds a soft dreamy quality to your design! The image of the flowers with the hat is beautiful too - great colors - fresh picked from the garden!
